Gavin Lipjes was born to nature enthusiastic parents in Johannesburg, South Africa, in
1976. His youth and adolescence was spent hunting and fishing on every
possible occasion, this was fortunately recognised, and he was
directed into a career in conservation. After completing his studies
he found employment as a field guide, where he gained great
experience and honed new skills. Later Gavin moved into professional
hunting and has remained in this field. He has spent the last 11 years
hunting and exploring the southern African region. He is a
professional hounds man, professional hunter and registered field
guide.
